Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

Electronics & Communication Engineering
General Information

The Electronics and Communication Department started in the year 2000, and within a short span of time, had appreciable faculty strength with a nice blend of teachers from both academic and industrial backgrounds. Our department is strengthened by its members from different fields of modern technology like Devices, VLSI and Advanced Communication.Faculty members are involved in research work in the respected fields. Our department comprises of highly experienced senior members and sincere enthusiastic junior members. We have well equipped laboratory setups for Microwave, Advanced Communication, Digital and Analog Communication, VLSI, Digital and Analog Circuits, R & D etc. These Labs provide necessary assistance to the students for practical purposes and hands-on experience. A group of dynamic and dedicated technical staff looks after these laboratories. The pass out students of our department, are performing consistently well, both in industry as well as in post graduation academic fields and also in research works in India and abroad. The department has also excelled in many extra-curricular activities.

Our aim is to shape the students to fit into the industrial mould and nurture their skills, abilities, creativity, knowledge and personality so that they can be successful academic and industry professionals as well as responsible members of the society.
