Extracurricular Activity Cell (Social Service Club + Cultural Club)

Functionality of The Cell
  • To assist and guide the Social Service Units for implementation of various Social Service programs under his university and AICTE jurisdiction.
  • Organizing awareness campaigns on issues like health, sanitation, education, and environment.
  • Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in the problem-solving process, and thus develop among them a sense of social and civic responsibility.
  • Utilize their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems.
  • To nurture individual creativity and talent through teamwork and shared responsibilities.
  • To provide a platform for talented musicians, singers, and dancers in the college, playing an active role in several college functions such as the First Year Orientation, Tech Fest, Cultural Events, etc.
  • To foster creativity and artistic expression through effective teamwork.
  • To spread awareness of the rich heritage of Indian dance, music, and other traditional cultural activities. Members are motivated to be creative and innovative.

The college facilitates the students to participate in different kinds of community-based programs from time to time.

The college has the following facilities:

  1. Seminar Hall: The seminar hall can accommodate 300 students at a time. The hall has the following facilities:
  • Stage
  • Podium- 2 standard sized podiums with microphone.
  • One hand mike
  • One collar mike
  • Sound system
  • Computer
  • Projector
  1. Laboratories- The language lab can be used for cell activities. A total of 34 systems have been installed in the laboratory with proper internet connectivity and wall-mounted LCD projector.

An open-air space for different events like street play, awareness programs etc.

Roles and Responsibilities of Coordinator:

  • To coordinate art and culture in accordance with the students’ ability and community demands.
  • To coordinate internal resources available in the form of teaching expertise of teachers for enhancing the knowledge and skills of the students in implementation of the scheme; and
  • To coordinate the proper functioning of the cell by proper channelization.

Roles and Responsibilities of Faculty Members:

  • To directly interact with the students’ coordinator and help them understand various activities that should be undertaken.
  • To promote a sense of participation among the students.
  • To organize the events through proper mobilization of the students using them optimally.

Roles and Responsibilities of Students:

  • Understanding the role of art and culture in our society and thus creating awareness through various activities.
  • To enable maximum participation
