From 2001-02 to 2022-23 it is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT,WB) formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) which was established in the year of 2001. The affiliation of the academic year 2022-23 was extended by the MAKAUT,WB vide letter no. 122/B.TECH/Affiliation/2022-23 dated 16.08.2022.
