General Information
M.Tech in IoT is a specialized program, aimed to produce skilled graduates with deeper understanding in the key domain areas of Internet of Things. Increased penetration of affordable embedded devices, combined with cloud computing, big data, machine learning & networking and rising consumer expectations is driving the rapid growth of the IoT market. IoT is a network of connected things and people, which contain embedded technology to sense and communicate data from environment around them. The number of IoT-connected devices is expected to touch 43 billion by 2023, according to McKinsey. Applications of Internet of Things (IoT) include smart home, smart agriculture, smart transportation, smart environment monitoring, smart healthcare, smart wearable, smart road, cyber physical systems, Industry 4.0 and many more.
The Departmental & Central library is equipped with up-to-date books and e-books, journals, technical magazines, conference papers on IoT which provides additional perception for both students and faculty members. Students are always stimulated and inspired to work on state-of-the-art research and projects under the guidance of qualified faculty members.
The M.Tech Program in IoT brings a lot of opportunities for the students in different fields. Post Graduates will have job opportunities at leading firms such as IT, Automotive, Manufacturing, Energy, Telecom and Logistics in country as well as in abroad. Post Graduates will also be able to carry out PhD/Research from different premier national and international universities with a great future. Eligibility Details
B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/IT, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and other programs or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Mathematics (with & Computer Science Specialization), – MCA (with BCA or B.Sc. with Mathematics compulsory and any of the others from Statistics, Physics, Electronics or Computer Science).
