Functionality of The Cell
The functionality of MAR Committee in MAKAUT institutes: Oversee MAR for holistic student development through academics and outreach (e.g., community service, relief camps, tree plantation, caring for underprivileged/animals), verify proofs, assign points, ensure degree eligibility minima, maintain inspectable records, and promote guideline compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Verifying documentary proofs submitted by students at the end of every semester to assign activity points.
- Finalizing the activity points for each student based on verified proofs.
- Entering the finalized points into the Online Point Entry System provided by the University.
- Ensuring students earn the minimum required MAR points before they are eligible for final examinations and degree conferral.
- Maintaining individual MAR files (preferably digital) for students to maintain inspectable records
- Complying with MAKAUT guidelines for fulfilling and reporting MAR requirements.
