Training & Placement Cell

Functionality of The Cell
  • To identify strengths and weaknesses of the students so as to mentor them accordingly.
  • To help students map their career path leading to their professional goals.
  • Help them with the tools for upgrading their existing skills.
  • Providing students opportunities and avenues for upgrading their skills so that they are updated with the industry needs.
  • Counselling students to identify their own potential and uniqueness so that they can utilize them to their own advantage in professional life.
  • Try to give industry exposure through conducting Industry Meets, Industry Visits, and Talks by leading professionals.
  • To arrange training programmes by external experts from the industry.
  • Holding campus placement drives to assist students in finding a good job offer to start their careers after graduation.

Facilities and Campus Placement Support

  • Conducting interaction programs through alumni.
  • The following facilities and practices are available to promote career guidance in college:
  • A placement cell with two dedicated staff members to provide career guidance and placement training to students.
  • A dedicated career guidance cell to expose students to various higher studies options, career opportunities and assess their values, interests, abilities, skills related to employment.
  • Separate placement Seminar hall to conduct group discussions, interviews, presentations, lectures.
  • Motivational lectures by alumni and prominent industry personnel.
  • Pre-placement training programs in Aptitude, Personality development etc.
  • Regular career guidance programmes on aptitude, skill-rack tests etc.
  • Creating awareness about career planning and career mapping among students
  • Providing additional coaching for GATE Exam/ Other Competitive preparation with the help of in-house faculty and online test series.
  • Providing training on life skills. Students are also given training in the area of quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and verbal reasoning.

Coordinator

  • Under the supervision of our Director, the coordinator communicates with the students and faculty members for conducting different activities. To provide training and guidance to students on career related matters and assist them in exploring new opportunities.

Cell Members

  • To coordinate between coordinator, students and faculty members of the respective departments regarding placement, training activities and preparing document of the final and pre final year students.

 Student Members

  • To coordinate and disseminate information amongst peers regarding events, trainings and campus opportunities.
