Functionality of The Cell

Functions of the cell

1. Coordination with the University:

  • Liaise with the affiliating university for all examination-related communications.
  • Receive question papers, answer booklets, and examination schedules from the university.

2. Conduct of Examinations:

  • Organize and manage all university-conducted theory and practical examinations.
  • Schedule and conduct internal assessments.
  • Assign invigilators and prepare duty charts.
  • Ensure adherence to university guidelines during examinations.

3. Confidential Work:

  • Handle the secure receipt and printing (if required) of question papers.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of examination materials and processes.
  • Secure storage and dispatch of answer booklets to the university.

4. Internal Assessment Management:

  • Collect, maintain, and upload internal assessment marks (theory, practical, attendance).
  • Prepare and submit the required internal assessment reports to the university.

5. Student Exam Registration:

  • Facilitate online or offline exam registration for students.
  • Verify and approve exam applications and fee payments.

6. Seating Plans:

  • Prepare seating arrangements and invigilation schedules.
  • Display and communicate examination timetables.

7. Result Processing:

  • Receive and disseminate exam results from the university.
  • Address student queries regarding results, revaluation, and rechecking.

8. Handling Malpractices:

  • Report cases of unfair means to the university.
  • Assist in conducting inquiries into malpractice cases.

9.Support for Revaluation / Supplementary Exams:

  • Organize supplementary/backlog exams as per university norms.
  • Guide students in applying for revaluation, photocopy of answer scripts, and supplementary exams.
